Don’t Waste Your Life Tour in Review

Don’t Waste Your Life Tour in Review

Saturday in Atlanta marked the final stop on the Don’t Waste Your Life Tour (it was so crazy lights were falling from the ceiling).  We thought we would recap some highlights of what the Lord did this summer:

Sho Baraka, Tedashii, Trip Lee, Flame, DJ Official and Lecrae hit the road to 26 cities encouraging over 30,000 people not to waste their short lives on earth but live for God’s fame and glory.  At every concert the gospel was preached and people rocked as they confronted faith in Jesus.  Eight of the cities sold out while travelling from the east coast all the way to the west.

Recap some of the comments on twitter here (#dwyl)

Check out some photos from the MN show

(If you have any links to pics or video of the tour let us know in the comments below!)

In addition to the concert, ReachLife Ministries sponsored a special “Don’t Waste Your MInistry” meeting for urban leaders in each city.  After connecting with about 2000 leaders on the frontlines of urban ministry, we saw the huge need for biblical resources that can help them lead the next generation into a growing relationship with Christ.

A huge thank you goes to the team at Desiring God Ministries, who selflessly gave their time and talent to help craft the communication of the DWYL message.  If you haven’t already go to their website or follow them on twitter.  Or grab the book that inspired it all.

And another huge thank you to everyone who came out!  The encouragement overwhelmed us and fuels us to continue on in ministry.

Now we are praying and planning about what will happen next summer…stay tuned.

God Bless all of ReachRecords, Flame, Tedashii, Trip, Sho, Crae and to God be the Glory! I wish I would have made it to one of the concerts but I know I will make it next year. God has been usin' me this last year to minister the word of God through Gospel rap to my local community and I tell them about all of you guys when I go out so they can know that Jesus wants them to call on Him for deliverance! God is great and greatly to be praised!....btw I was the first to comment....lol.

I want thank God for using tedashii, flame, Trip Lee, LeCrae for glorifying God and getting the message out there. I just got into rap a few years ago and i'm praying for my boy to turn to the lord as well.
we all need to be delivered from our sin. Praise God for all that he is doing and will do in the future.

You guys did great, watched the Orlando stop online and was really convicted by what I heard. The message was clearly heard and the music was on point. You guys did a great job and I can't wait to get each of your guys next album. I'm more into the message of the song than anything and what you guys are preaching is real. Stop by the midwest a couple more times next year, stay strong, couraeous and bold... and drink lot's of pineapple juice.

I think many people assumed they could not get into the concert because online it was sold out two days before the concert. I made the decision to go down to the event anyway and god a free ticket. I believe the turnout would have been even larger. It was a great event. I don't understand why the local gospel radio station did not advertise it? With the quality of the performers, I believe eventually they will be filling up the major arenas in atlanta. It was great, and to God be the glory. Stay encouraged and stay blessed. You are positively influencing many lives.
