  • Rogers (Dec 5th at 7:44 PM) Thank you for making that point Trip about getting more out of the album than being impressed with the lyrical skills of the artist, but the glory of the Lord. Stay golden, thank you
  • Brian C. White (Dec 20th at 1:48 PM) a year and a half ago i was just another lost child appeasing to my flesh n struggling to be and fighting what and where He was trying to take me. it's something He put in my heart and called it the "Jonah Experience." i was in the belly of the beast and like most people. it was all i knew and i was afraid to walk in this world but not be of it. it's spiritual institutionalism. i became accustomed to living wrong it was all i knew and i was afraid and couldn't phathym living my life correctly. so metephorically everytime i would try to to escape the beast, i'd get to his mouth and peak outside and the world look different and i couldn't handle it so like my most people i'd run back inside. Ezekial 34 speaks of how God was angered by the way the people he made shephards over His flock had misled them and since they were incapable of leading He was going to take them back. that's what happened to me. He saw where i was leading me so He saved me from myself. immediately He began to change me. naturally as your lifestyle changes so does your ear. i was watching tbn and there was a show on and DA T.R.U.T.H. was on. i was moved by his word and his music so i went out and tried to find one of his albums. what i found was "Open Book." it was what i expected but what stood out was his song with Trip. it really hit home because at the time i was just beginning to understand what it meant to be saved and what i had to do and be to truly be in the kingdom. from there i tried to find a Trip Lee album. finally i found 20/20. as soon as i put it in i felt an annointing in every word. what stuck out for me personally was. "Cling to You." at the time i unemployed and really struggling with my praise. that song embodies the christian struggle. but what you and shai did is something most christians act like they don't do. express their discomfort with their situation BUT not dwell on it and still say thank you. when i heard that hook. for you to acknowledge that it may not get better but that won't stop you from praising and saying thank you, no pun intended but it opened my eyes to how ungreatful i was being by complaining. you named the album correctly. each song opens a different section of vision. all of ya'll are true instruments of God and i pray that you continue to progress in Him and that He uses yall to open more eyes.

  • D'Andre Lee (Mar 9th at 4:55 PM) So true Trip...Im a 17 year old gospel rapper and Ive been hit with all kinda stuff. People look at me like Im Lil Wayne or somebody ha ha. Im far from it. I just like to praise God through my gift (1Peter4:10) I live in Louisiana. People tell me Im a gospel Lil Boosie but I prefer to be known as a worshipper...not a rapper.
