New Release Date for Man Up

New Release Date for Man Up

Biblical manhood is such an important issue and needs to be treated with care and excellence. So as you can imagine, the production of a short film and album has proven to be an extensive process. We have been on our grind to complete everything so the Man Up Release date has been pushed back from July 23 to September 27, 2011.

Until then, you can be among the first to experience a showing of the film, a panel discussion on manhood, and a live concert at the kick off of the Man Up concert series in New York, NY on August 6th, 2011. Don’t wait Click Here to get your tickets now!

Yeah I think you guys really need to work on living up to the dates you set up...I'm sure its worth the wait but this is ridiculous pushing albums back consistently...don't set dates unless you know for sure...

All in good time. The process and care to put something like this together can easily take more time than initially thought. Just learn and move ahead. Can't wait to see/hear it and what Jesus is going do with it.

Knowing Reach the push back will be worth it (i.e. Tedashii). That being said, I thought the premise of the Concert Series was that they would be based off of the album. What now?

Man, Cross Movement used to do this set a date get us excited then change it! You guys doin it! I do it with my youth group, tell somethings happening on a certain day then change it! Lord help us let our Yes be Yes and our No be No! And oh yeah...a single off Man Up would make up for it!! :)

hey all you selfish people copping out big time on RR; hows about y'all try makin an album? i'm a huge fan and am also very excited. but these guys deserve a bit of slack, they're moving mountains for our Lord and a few more months won't do harm to us. lay off. or even better; got to a third world country: we are blessed to be able to purchase this awesome and encouraging music. can't wait RR :D

heres the thing. its one thing if you miss a realease date. but this is two in a row. and 3 of the last 6. teshashii miss, sho hit, trip hit, crae hit, tedashii miss, man up miss. thats 50% of their albums for the last 2 years and this didnt used to happen. one of the most obvious things that separates CHH from secular is their INTEGRITY, with regards to release dates and not compromising morals for the sake of marketing. Secular companies do it on purpose to create hype. I DONT THINK THIS IS THE CASE HERE. if i ever found out it was, id be done with them. i think they legitimately thought itd be done and it just didnt happen. i really think they should make the date more tentative, if they arent sure they can hit it. i dont perceive it to be a lie, but some people might see it as being that black and white and it could be a stumbling block.

i just hope desperately its not a public relations thing. it does work, and build more attention. any publicity is good publicity. the more headlines about a certain album, the more people hear of it. for instance, someone forgot about man up, or hadnt seen the last headline, suddenly highly viewed sites like rapzilla have it in the headlines all over again. they get double publicity. publicity as the albums get close....but then they move it back last minute and more people hear about it....the goal being, people who missed out hearing about it the first time, as it enters the news again when it nears the new release date. if that were the case, which i dont think it is....and really hope its not. then it would be a flat out lie. to say one date but know your gonna push it back, for marketing reasons. you know what happens to most secular people who do that? THE ALBUMS LEAK. AND THEY LOSE MONEY ANY WAY. so i trust them. God is in control. and takes care of everyone elses business.
