My dad died when I was 14 and he wasn't a great role model for me growing up. He was an alcoholic and that is what ultimately took his life. I spent my teen years without a father figure to look to and follow after. I was blessed to find a christian man who helped lead me to Christ when I was 17 and then I was further blessed with a father-in-law that treated me like a son from the first day I started dating his daughter. These men taught me how to be not only a man, but a christian man. I pray that I can be that example to my son and anyone else that I can influence for God's glory. Lecrae, keep fighting the good fight. 1 1 6!

I have concerns about Lecrae and the others like me, No doubt his like one of the Best artist out there... why are he throwing illuminati hand signs in this music video?
Really I don't want to believe it, coz his one of my all time favorite, but we need to ask God for discernment...

Keep it going LeCrae! We on the battle grounds with you fam!
they are awkwardly weird. whats the deal with the illuminated triangle in the background? aside from all that. great song. thought the video could be much better. they shoulda had lecrae as a little boy watching his "role model" and have him getting older as the video goes leading to the scence with the police line up. i think a lot more couldve been done to get the message across in a more effective way. those hand signals do disturb me tho

Triangle needs to be explained, the hand signal went with the line where he mentioned being influenced by his uncle being a "piru" blood gang member. Their signs are actually similar to iluminati ones but have totally diffrent meanings. Triangle though idk, but keep in mind lecrae is a trooper for Christ, these videos have a lot of work put into it... Im sure some sony video producer setup background and I doubt lecrae is setting up backgrounds for his upcoming videos...its not his job

Love the Video Bro! I incorporate your music in my groups at the detention center.
also ppl r getting too excited about the illuminati/satanism in hip hop, i feel we should expect that type of behavior from MC's in the world who dont belong to Christ Jesus. also in 4:29 of the video dude was prolly showing us his WEDDING BAND instead of tryna glorify satanic activity.

The location of video was a great spot to use. I live a block across the street from the phone booth. He ran threw cheatem projects, north Nashville. The phone booth corner (d.b.tood/jefferson st is the gateway to three major colleges, Fisk U, TSU and McHerry (spelled wrong on purpose) the misspelling represents the community around these schools. People come from far to use the resources thats put in place for the people of the falling neighborhoods around the schools..words of advice to north Nashville an other hoods across the world. U don't have to take part in crime to survive, its others positive ways to become a better person. Don't let no one make you believe you have to be a "real nigga". Just be real to yourself, an don't be scare to LOVE. ...p.s...learning to read, spell an pronounce words is a good start (Meharry)
